FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: prepared material is treated with a complex of enzymes corresponding to a polysaccharide composition of the material used until obtaining a sugar solution. The sugar solution is fermented in an enzyme on culturing medium using bacteria which produce butanol, acetone and ethanol. Organic solvents and gases formed during the fermentation process are distilled. During fermentation, feeding is carried out with solutions of carbohydrates and mineral salts. The fermentation process is carried out mainly with synthesis of butanol by periodically lowering pressure in the fermenter with simultaneous distillation of the formed solvents. The end product is extracted. The invention also discloses apparatus for realising the method and a product obtained using said method. Average productivity of the process equals 8.5-10.0 g/l/day.
EFFECT: invention enables to use non-food renewable plant material, shortens time for preparing the material and increases productivity of the process.
