FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of preparing organic solvents involves biosynthesis of carbohydrate-containing material using Clostridium acetobutylicum bacteria. The ratio of the obtained organic solvents is changed by exposing the producing culture to low pressure. Output of organic solvents is equal to 6.5-7.5% butanol, 0.7-1.2% acetone and 0.25% ethanol.
EFFECT: possibility of changing the ratio of organic solvents directly during the fermentation process.
