FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the plane parallel layered sealing materials: paronite and various sealings of them intended for use in sealing nodes with plane sealed surfaces during operation of which the material is subjected to variable thermal and mechanical stress: periodic grips, heating, etc. The laminated plane parallel sealing material comprises several lane parallel layers of a polymeric composite comprising a matrix of rubber vulcanizate, within which asbestos fiber particles or polyaramid fibers are arranged. The surface layers of the material or one of the layers are made with restorability after compression more than in the inner layers due to the complete absence or partial reduction of the content of asbestos or polyaramid fibers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the sealing ability of the sealing material.
