FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to criminalistics (trasology) and can be used to prepare a composition when forming or taking moulds of three-dimensional footwear impressions and moulds of three-dimensional traces of vehicles of persons involved in an incident at ambient temperature below zero (from -35 to -55°C). The composition for obtaining moulds in trasology contains the following, wt %: binding substance - gypsum 35-60, at least one target additive selected from: MgCl2, NaCl, CaCl2, sucrose 1-9, liquid with low freezing point 20-52, water 31-35. The liquid with low freezing point used is aqueous solution of isopropyl or methyl or ethyl alcohol or ethylene glycol or propylene glycol antifreeze.

EFFECT: setting and hardening of the composition for obtaining moulds in trasology at temperatures below zero, clearer shape of the mould.
