FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to optical coherence tomography, and is intended for determination of size and depth of anatomomorphological structures position in live biological tissue. OCT images from examined biological tissue are obtained. Calibrated test-object is created by selection in pile of at least four semi-transparent light-dispersing polymer films 10-50 mcm thick, in such way that between adjacent ones in the pile, at least one 50-500 mcm long clearance is formed. Size and depth of position of clearance in OCT image of test-object are determined. Size and depth of position of anatomomorphological structures in live biological tissue are determined by special formula, which include real size of test-object.

EFFECT: method allows to determine size and depth of anatomomorphological structures in live biological tissue with great accuracy and the least labour consumption by examining it by means of OCT method, which ensures diagnostics reliability.
