FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgery, and is intended for plasty of hernias of anterior abdominal wall. Two trocars are introduced into abdominal cavity. Pneumoperitoneum is applied. Formation of preperitoneal space for placement of synthetic mesh prosthesis is carried out under visual control through laparoscope. Fixation of mesh prosthesis to muscular-aponeurotic part of anterior abdominal wall is carried out from the side of abdominal cavity with needles by means of herniostapler, through parietal peritoneum, without cutting it. In case of oblique inguinal hernias access to preperitoneal slace is realised both through hernia defect and medial inguinal fossa. In case of post-operative ventral hernias, when there are several hernia defects along post-operative scar, access to preperitoneal space is realised through all or part of hernia defects.
EFFECT: method prevents process of commisure formation in abdominal cavity.
