FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to disinfect and sterilise air and other gases, and comprises electric cleaner made up of housing with inlet and outlet nozzles accommodating five constricting plates fitted perpendicular to device axis. Disks made from metal meshes form a chamber filled with zeolite granules are arranged between first and second constricting plates. Pairs consisting of dielectric web with cylindrical channels for working agent passage and disk-type precipitation electrode perforated by round holes aligned with cylindrical channels are arranged between second and third plates. Note here that said pairs are arranged to allow alternation of disk-type precipitation electrode potential signs. Aforesaid round holes and cylindrical channels form contaminants accumulating cells. Note here that edges of round holes in every disk-type precipitation electrode are elongated towards direction of working agent flow to produce truncated cone, cone side wall being inclined by 8-20 degrees and cone base diametre being equal to that of cylindrical channel in dielectric web.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of disinfection and device regeneration.
