FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed cleaner comprises case and precipitation electrodes made up of metal perforated plates that make fluid passages and are provided with dielectric-material webs. Note here that electrodes with webs make impurity accumulators while precipitation electrodes are connected to high-voltage source with varying potential sign. DC high-voltage source is made up of two units: first unit supplies high voltage to electrodes in cleaning dielectric fluid when second unit is in OFF, while second unit supplies high voltage to electrodes in their recovery when first unit is in OFF. Note that said voltage exceeds that generated by first unit and features sufficient magnitude for electric discharges to occur between adjacent electrodes. High-voltage source may be made up of one unit operated in two operating conditions: one for cleaning and another one for electrode recovery. Note also that high voltage supplied in second operating condition exceeds that in first operating condition. Besides, recovery of electrodes is performed without dismantling of as-filled electric cleaner.
