FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to grinding and producing abrasive wheel peripheral cutting layer. Proposed method features using the device comprising casing, jet-forming nozzle arranged on one face of the casing in its central bore, rod fitted in the casing on its opposite end face, sais rod having tapered tip in contact with casing bore tapered surface, and lengthwise travel cam drive. Device casing has central stepped lengthwise tapered surface bore and crosswise bore to feed high-pressure water via union and pipeline. Cam drive consists of motor, cam return spring and crosswise axle articulated with the rod. High-pressure pulsating water jet is fed onto revolving abrasive wheel by aforesaid jet-forming nozzle, while jet is broken by reciprocating rod with tapered tip. Device is arranged tangentially to peripheral cutting surface of abrasive wheel, or is continuously displaced horizontally with axial feed.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduces costs.
