FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in working of abrasive-bound materials to produce regular microrelief on abrasive wheel peripheral working surface. Proposed method comprises making regular microrelief representing through bores in abrasive wheel working surface intended for radially-shifted feed of coolant-lubricant into cutting zone by hydraulic-pulse device with radial axis directed toward wheel centre. Proposed device comprises jet-forming nozzle arranged on one side of the case end face case in its central bore, rod fitted on another end face in the case and furnished with tapered tip in contact with the case conical surface, and lengthwise travel cam drive screwed on the sleeve in case. Said drive consists of step motor, cam, return spring and crosswise axle articulated with rod to interrupt water flow by reciprocation of said rod with tapered tip. Abrasive wheel revolves intermittently while hydraulic pulse device reciprocates along wheel axis.
EFFECT: expanded performances, lower labour input and costs, higher efficiency.
