FIELD: machine tool manufacture, possibly feeding cutting fluid to grinding zone. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding cutting fluid with use of hydraulic shock to grinding zone by means of grinding disc with axially shifted cutting layer and with ends inclined by acute angle relative to plane normal to its rotation axis; injecting cutting fluid through nozzle by action of hydraulic shock for striking with air aerodynamic flow attracted by rotating grinding disc; using device for creating hydraulic shock with concentrator for forming hydraulic shocks at predetermined frequency. Nozzle for injecting cutting fluid performs lengthwise reciprocation motion synchronously with oscillating movements of end and cutting zone of grinding disc with axially shifted cutting layer. Nozzle is mounted movably and it is driven to motion by means of lateral piece secured to bearing support and inclined by acute angle relative to plane normal to rotation axis. Injection of cutting fluid by action of impulse pressure upon grinding disc ends and cutting zone provides condition for intensified cavitation erosion. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cooling and cleaning cutting surface of grinding disc with axially shifted cutting layer. 2 cl, 4 dwg
