FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: cytostatics, cyclophosphan in single dosage 4 mg/100 g of animal's body weight is injected intraperitoneally in experimental animals, e.g., in rats. Then, starting with the 5th day after the introduction of the cytostatic, the animals are exposed to whole-body external fractionated gamma radiation in a single dose 2 Sv. The exposure involves 3 radiation procedures in total every second day of total equivalent dose 6 Sv. On the 4the day following the last radiation session, the animals are killed to analyse for spleen cellularity (SC), blood leukocyte count (LC), blood serum thyroxin (T4) and serotonin (ST) concentration, while these values are used to calculate a suppression index (SI) by formula The SI value exceeding 1.57 units enables to state immunodeficiency of associated genesis.

EFFECT: method provides an objective assessment of the joint effect of the cytostatic and external gamma radiation in experiment.
