FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: braking device for canvas blind drive comprises support element, friction braking element and coupling ring. Support element has mounting seat wherefrom braking element extends. Braking element can displace between first position whereat it stays in surface contact with clamping ring and second position braking element and clamping ring are spaced apart. Braking element and support are provided with locking appliance to retain the former locked on the latter. Locking appliance represents a convex zone of mounting seat edge that surrounds braking element perimetre. Said convex zone is directed towards the support center. Canvas blind drive comprises aforesaid braking device.

EFFECT: higher drive efficiency.
