FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: patient is examined by electrocardiogram with taking the case history. An individual risk index (IRI) of the development of perioperative cardiovascular complications in extracardiac surgeries is calculated by an original formula including the following parametres: patient's age, observed signs of chronic cardiac failure, observed functional class 2 or 3 angina pectoris, non-sinus rhythm, observed frequent ventricular premature beats in sinus rhythm. The IRI value show the risk of the perioperative CVC.
EFFECT: method allows to get more exact information on a cardiovascular state, to specify an approach of patients preparation for the forthcoming extracardiac surgery.
