FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves dissecting leaves of rectus sheathes, laying a mesh polypropylene explant on the leaves of the rectus sheath and closing the anterior leaves of the sheathes. In diastasis recti abdominis 5-7 cm wide and small hernial defect, a hernial sac is not opened, but embedded in an abdominal cavity without dissecting a white line. The anterior leaves of the rectus sheathes only are dissected in an immediate vicinity from junctions to posterior leaves along the entire length of diastasis. Medial edges of the dissected leaves are sutured together. The explant is laid thereon. Lateral edges of the dissected anterior leaves of the rectus sheathes are sutured together.
EFFECT: method allows to avoid recurrent hernias.
