FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire technology, used for evacuation and saving people from the upper floors of tall buildings during fires and other emergency situations. Device contains a flameproof body frame with a drum wound with a cable placed in it, hanging tool for fastening those being saved to the cable, stabiliser of the speed of winding the cable to the drum and a brake mechanism. Device is equipped with an automatic electromechanical descent speed regulator for those being saved, cable catcher if it breaks and a T-shaped horizontal supporting arm with a telescopic console and attached to the last emergency flexible tension cable with a catch on the free end. Each suspended device for fastening the one being saved to the cable is equipped with a grip with a spring-actuated roller-track cable clamp. Braking mechanism is made in the form of a transformer of kinetic energy of braking, consisting of a kinematically connected with the drum reversible electric generator - motor with an electric energy storage device in the form of an accumulator. Drum has a notched wheel, attached on the axis of the last one. Telescopic console of the T-shaped horizontal supporting arm protrudes from the opening of the outer walls of the tall building. Horizontal cross-beam and emergency flexible tension cable of the console of the supporting arm is supported through studs and hooks correspondingly on the vertical and horizontal edges of openings of the outer and parting walls of the tall building. Body frame with the drum placed inside is suspended through a flexible connection to the outer end of the console of the T-shaped horizontal supporting arm, length L of the cross-beam which is 1.2-2.5 times larger than the length L1 of its telescopic console.
EFFECT: creating an effective multiple-use device for evacuating people from upper floors of tall buildings.
