FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rolling mill consists of loading device, of furnace, of reduction train and continuous finish train installed in two lines, of roller beds for lengthwise rolled metal transporting and for delivery into stands, of transfer devices between rolling lines, of device for rolled metal cutting and of cooling bank. Reduced dynamic loads on equipment and decreased losses of work-piece temperature at rolling are achieved like follows: the reduction train is made in form of two parallel arranged three-stand continuous blocks each consisting of two horizontal working stands and one vertical between them; also, axles of rollers of working stands of these blocks are arranged in common vertical planes. A drive of each pair of horizontal stands is made in form of one electric engine and two individual combined reducers - pinion stands installed on both sides of the rolling line and connected with transmission shafts. The combined reducers-pinion stands of each of the last horizontal stands in the direction of rolling are equipped with an additional gear changing direction of rollers rotation relative to rollers of a conjugated stand and diminishing ratio of the reducer at a value close to summary coefficient of drawing of the three-stand continuous block. The continuous finish train is made non-reverse in form of two-roller horizontal-vertical working stands.
EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of rolling and increased service life of equipment.
