FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to titanium alloys resisting high-temperature oxidation and to engine exhaust pipes made thereof. Titanium alloy comprises 0.15-2% by wt of Si and less than 0.30% by wt of Al. Alloy may have equiaxial structure with grain size of 15 mcm or greater, or needlelike structure. Alloy resistance to high-temperature oxidation at over 800 °C can be notably increased by addition of at least one element selected from Nb, Mo and Cr. Note here that total content of Si and content of this element, or sum of Si, Al and additive makes 2% by weight or less.

EFFECT: titanium material with anti-oxidation properties.
