FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to a sheet material made of titanium alloys exhibiting heat and oxidation resistance, as well as structural stability when subjected to long operation holding under temperatures in the range up to 800 °C, and can be used for manufacturing components of the exhaust system of a vehicle. Sheet material made of a titanium alloy for manufacturing components contains, in % wt.: aluminium 1.5 to 3.0, molybdenum 0.1 to 0.5, silicon 0.1 to 0.6, iron no more than 0.2, oxygen no more than 0.15, carbon no more than 0.1, nitrogen no more than 0.03, hydrogen no more than 0.015, titanium the rest.
EFFECT: sheet material has high values of creep resistance, oxidation resistance, and has a stable structure during long operation holding under temperatures in the range up to 800 °C; material is suitable for cold forming.
