FIELD: production of composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to titanium composite material, which can be used, for example, in power plants for condensers cooled by sea water, in heat exchangers for seawater desalination plants, in reactors of chemical plants, refrigerators. Titanium composite material 1 comprises a first surface layer 2, a second surface layer 3 and inner layer 4, note here that first and second surface layers consist of titanium alloy while inner layer consists of technically pure titanium including pores. Thickness of at least one of first and second surface layer is 2 mcm or more, fraction of this thickness relative to total thickness of titanium composite material is 40 % or less, and porosity in section perpendicular to sheet thickness direction is more than 0 % and not more than 30 %.
EFFECT: composite material has characteristics equivalent to characteristics of material completely consisting of same titanium alloy, however, can be made with lower costs compared to titanium material completely consisting of same titanium alloy.
