FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of electric engineering and may be used to make dry electric heaters. They are designed to heat industrial, residential premises, and may be used in thermal cabinets, thermostats for wood processing, medical, food and chemical industries. According to invention, method to make electric heater includes arrangement of layer of electroconductive material in the form of electroconductive material in the form of carbon threads or carbon fibre between layers of electric insulating material, connection of these layers under pressure, at the same time electric insulation material is represented by plates of pyroceramics-forming glass, connection of plates under pressure is carried out at the temperature, which is by 40-70°C higher than temperature of glass transformation, and then pressure is relieved, and thermal processing is carried out at the temperature of 510-600°C higher than temperature of glass transformation for 2-3 hrs.
EFFECT: increased temperature of electric heater operation and simplified technology of its manufacturing.
