FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasma chemical reactor designed to treat mineral ores before flotation, reduction of pure metals from metals oxides (molybdenum, lead, tin), and to release sulphur from sulphide minerals. Proposed reactor comprises housing, plasma generator, gas and ore feed device and product discharge device. Reactor housing bottom part incorporates tapered device arranged along bottom axis and having its apex directed upward to reduce channel flow sections, at least, two times. It comprises also annular partition arranged under said tapered device attached to reactor bottom, central tube to discharge gas from reactor bottom part and tapered bins to discharge ore.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced capital, repair and operating costs, reduced time of contact between high-temperature gas and processed material.
