SUBSTANCE: body of protective helmet comprises upper dome-like part with canopy in front part, areas of fixation of internal auxiliaries to helmet body, main stiffening belt and double-stage longitudinal protective belt for protection against impact at upper and back parts of helmet. The first rigid stage of protective belt is arranged in the form of longitudinal strip resting in front and back parts of body on the main stiffening belt arranged between areas of fixation of internal auxiliaries in front and back parts of helmet to helmet body and limited at each side with shaping stiffening rib. The second damping stage of protective belt is arranged in the form of tab resting in back part of body onto main stiffening belt and narrowing to front part of body. Tab rests via shaping stiffening rib through first stage. Width of stage does not protrude limits of circle with radius of 50 mm with centre in the helmet top, where zone most susceptible to ingress of foreign objects is located, and is brought nearer to its diametre.

EFFECT: invention provides for simplification of helmet design and improvement of its protective function.
