FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: fire protection system is proposed in invention. Fuel element is equipped with air and fuel. System includes pipes for supply of nitrogen-enriched air into room, so that content of oxygen is reduced, providing for its fire safety. System comprises device for measurement of oxygen and hydrogen content in spent air in pipes, comprises control or adjustment unit to control with air supply to cathode of fuel element and to control content of oxygen in premise by changing of lambda of fuel element cathode. Spent air is supplied into protected premise. Method of fire protection includes supply of air from outside into fuel element, which produces nitrogen-enriched spent air, supply of this air into premise so that oxygen content in premises reduces. Fire protection system is used in method realisation.
EFFECT: development of fire protection system, which comprises fuel element for production of nitrogen-enriched spent air of cathode.
