FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutter represents a spur worm with intaking cone and consists of body, rotary plug-in racks fitted in rectangular slots with body heating, and two covers secured on both end faces. One cover on the side of gauging part represents a disk with needle part fitted in the slot made on disk edges. Said needle part is made up of frieze bundle made up of radial metal wire rods jointed together by means of flexible mass. Note here that needle part coils make continuation of cutter gauging part coils to harden working surfaces of cutter teeth and have, at least, two complete solid coils. Note here that thickness of hardening needle part tooth thickness exceeds that of gauging tooth by two negative allowances. Note also that aforesaid metal wire rods feature L-shape, while rod bent part extends to form tooth lateral working surface and serves to act on working surface of machined billet teeth.
EFFECT: expanded process performances, higher efficiency and quality of teeth.
