FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for producing welded structures by contact welding. Electrode material consisting of copper wastes is heated in induction furnace to temperature 300-350 °C higher than melting point. Chromium nanoparticles are added in amount of 0.8-1.0 wt %. After cooling-down to 850-900 °C, male mould is used for forming.
EFFECT: higher hardness of electrodes thanks to addition of nanoparticles.
