FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of active coals for purification of fluids and gases. Proposed method comprises fine-crushing of charcoal into dust, and mixing it with wood-chemical resin. Note here that prior to mixing, coal is moistened to 15-25% humidity. It comprises also granulation of paste, damp granules carbonisation in the range of 150-380 °C at heating rate of 10-24 °C/min, and steam-gaseous activation performed to total volume of pores equal to 1.3-1.7 cm3/g.
EFFECT: carbon pure ecologically adsorbent with high activity with respect to large-molecular contaminants, for example, melasses.
