FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production of active charcoal applied for gas and liquid clearing. Offered is method of active charcoal production including combined milling of composition consisting of coal-tar raw material and binding solid, addition of potassium hydroxide solution to milled dust in amount 40-50 wt% with potassium hydroxide concentration equal 4-5 g per 100 g, paste moulding, drying of produced moulded material at temperature 100-110°C to moisture content 4-5%, carbonation of dried product within temperature range 450-500°C at speed 10-15°C/min.
EFFECT: production of charcoal applied to clear industrial discharge from dimethylformamide solvent and for higher yield of active charcoal.
