FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crystal ice as frit used for decorating sheet glass. Basic materials of frit glass are sprayed onto the surface of sheet glass. Crystal ice is molten at burning temperature between 650°C and 710°C. The average particle diametre of the crystal ice is between 0.2 mm and 1.0 mm. The crystal ice contains the following, mol %: Na2O - 10-20, ZnO - 10-30; B2O3-20-40; SiO2 - 10-20; TiO2 - 0-5; ZrO2 - 0-5; Al2O3 - 0-5; K2O - 3-10; Mg - 5-10; CaCO3 - 3-10; Nd - 0-5; F - 0-5, or Na2O - 10-20, ZnO - 0-10; B2O3 - 20-40; SiO2 - 10-30; CaO - 5-10; Al2O3 - 0-5; BaO - 3-10; SrO - 0-5; Li2CO3 - 0-5; Fe2O3 - 0-3; ZrO2 - 0-3, or Na2O - 10-20, ZnO - 5-15; B2O3 - 20-40; SiO2 - 10-30; CaO - 3-10; Al2O3 - 0-3; BaO - 0-5; Li2CO3 - 0-3; SrO - 0-5.
EFFECT: reduced deformation and decolouration of crystal ice.
