FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology. Differential diagnosis of rhinitis is ensured by endoscopy. Regions of a mucous membrane of a cavity of inferior and middle nasal concha is pre-cleaned from mucus, and the membrane is coloured with 1% methylene blue. With using a microendoscope, the nasal mucous membrane in the coloured epithelial layer of the mucous membrane is examined for shape and size of cells, their nuclei and cytoplasm, intensity and uniformity of their colouring in a RGB model, cell element position, vascular architectonics, a number of excretory duct of glands and mucus production, presence of epithelial metaplasia. The reports enable to diagnose vasomotor, hypertrophic or atrophic rhinitis.
EFFECT: technique is accessible and profit-proved, allows reliable and fast differential diagnosis of rhinitis that enables prescribing a well-timed pathogenetic therapy.
