SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to pediatric otorhinolaryngology, allergology, clinical pharmacology, can be used in the practice of pediatricians, otorhinolaryngologists, allergists, family doctors, clinical pharmacologists for predicting allergic rhinitis in the postoperative period of endoscopic adenotomy in children with hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsil. To do this, in children aged 3 to 8 years with difficulty in nasal breathing, a general blood test is performed. Next, the allergization index is calculated - IAL according to the formula, IAL = (lymphocytes % + 10 x (eosinophils % + 1)) / (neutrophils % + monocytes % + basophylls %). With IA values above 2.22, the development of allergic rhinitis in the postoperative period is predicted.

EFFECT: invention provides a simple, effective, cost-effective method for predicting the development of allergic rhinitis in the postoperative period of endoscopic adenotomy in children with pharyngeal tonsil hypertrophy.
