FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pulmonology, and aims at noninvasive and nonionising pulmonary health control. A broadband encoded acoustic signal of lower frequency 80 Hz and bandwidth 200 Hz and more is irradiated onto an oral cavity of a patient. An acoustic emission detector receives a response of said signal. the derived values are used to draw a plotted modulus of a joint correlation function of the radiated and received signals. Two maxima describing different acoustic speeds and propagation paths are selected on the plot. A time delay is defined as a difference of these two maxima. The encoded signal is presented by a chirp waveform or a phase-shift keyed signal.

EFFECT: method enables to provide higher information value of the transmissive acoustic pulmonary intubation due to simultaneous extraction of the signals describing air-structure and structure mechanisms of sound transmission in the patient's respiratory system.
