FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery in treating compression radicular syndrome caused diskal hernia. A method involves approaching posterior structures of a spine with medial resection of facet joints. It is followed with approaching a disk between an internal anterior venous plexus and a nerve root. A diskal hernia is mobilised, displaced from under the nerve root laterally and removed, the disk is inspected with removing free fragments. A posterior longitudinal ligament and a fibrous ring are dissected linearly in a lateral direction. It is followed with thermal destruction of subcutaneous fat containing fibres of medial branches innervating the facet joint.
EFFECT: method allows eliminating persistent pain syndromes and prevents formation of a rough cicatrical-adhesive process in an epidural space.
