FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical sizing and may be used to produce sharp cutting edges of micro-surgery tools. Proposed method of electrochemical sizing by oscillating electrode comprises pressing the billet by oscillating electrode against the pad to eliminate gaps there between, setting initial electrode gap, cutting on pulsed current and feeding electrode. Note here that said pad is made from current conducting material of composition identical to that of tool being made.
EFFECT: sharp and even cutting edges, ease of manufacture.
