FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of dimensional electrochemical processing of current-conducting materials and can be used in manufacturing of medical instruments. Method of shape-formation of instrument cutting edges by vibrating electrode-tool includes attachment of work-piece to dielectric padding, setting initial interelectrode clearance, switching on pulse technological current and electrode-tool supply. In process of processing change of pulse current average value is controlled, moment of sharp fall of pulse current average value and moment when its falling starts slowing down are fixed, and when set time after beginning of slowing down of falling of pulse current average value finishes, pulse technological current and electrode-tool supply are switched off simultaneously, set time for different work-pieces being selected experimentally, obtaining on work-piece cutting edge with formed edge without fin remains.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain accuracy of electrochemical shape-formation of instrument cutting edges and their edge sharpness.
