FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention, the spent nuclear fuel storage consists of concrete block with vertical cells; in concrete block there made is separating layer from composition with thickness of not less than 40 mm, for example from polymer cold curing composition, which contains components in the following ratio of weight parts: epoxy diane resin 100, furfurol 25-35, polyamide resin 40-95, ethanol 25-35, and cement 0-380. Separating layer is made above upper edges of containers with spent nuclear fuel, above which there laid is protective concrete layer the outer surface of which is covered with layer of polymer composition with thickness of not less than 3 mm.
EFFECT: providing radiation on the storage surface, which is not higher than the specified norm.
