FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical-pharmaceutical industry. A dry grinded herb Hoodia Gordonif is treated with 95% ethanol at 40°C for 45 min in the ratio of raw material to extractant equal to 1:10. After filtration, extractant is distilled off, while a solid residue is dissolved in deionised water. To remove lipophilic substances, the aqueous solution is treated with hexane for 4-5 times. After separating hexane layer, acetonitrile flows to the aqueous solution to volume ratio of acetonitrile to the aqueous solution 1:2, 3, while the prepared solution is applied on a BondElute cartridge filled with reversed-phase sorbent C18. An end product sorbed on the cartridge is eluted with a mixture: acetonitrile /0.03 % trifluoroacetic acid in deionised water (50/50). Acetonitrile and trifluoroacetic acid are distilled off from the prepared eluate in vacuum medium. The prepared solution is introduced in a preparative chromatograph with a reversed-phase sorbent Phenomenex Luna C18 column with the use of a mobile phase of acetonitrile/0.03 % trifluoroacetic acid composition in deionised water (50/50), and an eluate fraction corresponding to an end product peak is collected. To recover the end product from the prepared eluate, acetonitrile and trifluoroacetic acid are distilled off from the prepared eluate in vacuum medium, and the aqueous solution of the end product is freeze-dried.
EFFECT: invention allows producing the end product of yield 0,15 wt % of absolutely dry herbal raw materials and purity 92-96%.
