FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed crystalliser comprises forming cavity 2 with inlet 3, outlet 4 and moulding cone 6, and, at least, one concaved recess 7. Said recess runs along casting direction G; it starts at certain distance A, below preset position 5 of liquid metal bath surface, to run to outlet 4. Concaved recess 7 start is located in the area passing from approximately 30% to 70% of length L of aforesaid forming cavity, measured from inlet.
EFFECT: high speed of metal casting.
