FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed milling head comprises several cutting plate holders 11 fitted in seats of body 10 whereon soldered said cutting plates 12. Note here that said holders 11 can move axially driven by wedges 14 and be locked by clamps. At least, one cutting plate 12 is arranged at an angle to milling head axis and comprises elongated radially directed outer part (c) and shortened radially directed inner part (b) inclined at 3° to 7°, preferably, at 5° so that both said parts (b, c) form the angle of 177° to 173°, preferably, of 175°.
EFFECT: higher durability.
