FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tool is intended for using with milling head and comprises shaft and head with cutting plate soldered thereto by brazing metal and provided with lateral cutting edge 25 formed by front and rear surfaces. To increase precision and hardness, proposed tool has chamfer 29 adjoining lateral cutting edge 25 made on rear surface. Note here that chamfer width reduces to 0. Note also that every cutting tool is fitted in body mounting seat and may be adjusted by means of wedge in axial directions and clamped in milling head by locks.
EFFECT: higher cutting accuracy.
