FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control double reversible (3-1)-phase converters on anti-parallel valve pairs with double-sided current conductivity on principles of digital single-channel pulse-phase control. In method of complementary-phase control there performed is simultaneous supply to valve pairs of one of two complementary pulse sequences located symmetrically relative to natural commutation points, each of which can serve for controlling in full range at similar half-period average voltages at the converter output. Selection and distribution of pulses on valve pairs is performed by means of logic equations in sign function of load current in schemes on single-operational thyristors or in sign function of derivate of control signal in schemes on shutoff valves.
EFFECT: elimination of evidence of valve non-linearity in the form of incomplete controllability in schemes on shutoff valves or pulsating load current and equalising current in schemes on single-operational thyristors with separate or joint control of valve sets.
