FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use for organization of joint coordinated control over valve sets of m-phase reversible converters based on IGBT, MOSFET transistors or thyristors with artificial switching. It is proposed that simultaneous supply of controlling pulses to due valves in mix of both complete sets which switching on leads to connection of load circuit to one and same phases of network or secondary windings of power matched transformer makes it feasible to exclude totally balancing reactors from mix of converter thanks to absence of balancing voltage under conditions of instantaneous switching and substantially reduce inductance of these reactors under conditions of final long switching of phase currents. Realization of this method is possible in three variants depending on implementation of reversible converter on basis of parallel opposition, cross or H circuits.
