METHOD OF BOUGIENAGE TREATMENT OF ESOPHAGEAL STENOSIS AND BOUGIE FOR ITS REALISATION Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B17/00

SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to thoracic surgery and can be applied in esophageal bougienage. Essence lies in the following: into stenotic part of esophagus passed is elastic bougie under endoscopic control, with bougie being installed on endoscope tube. Bougie tip is made with thickening in form of cone with curves on proximal end. Movement of bougie is stopped after appearance of "downfall" sensation when thickened part of bougie passed beyond stenosis zone. After that, construction is removed with estimation of esophagus walls state while passing out. 1-2 mm thickness of bougie tube wall can be installed. Ratio of internal bougie tube and tip diametre and external diametre of endoscope tube can be equal dv=1.3de, where dv is internal bougie tube and tip diametre, de is external diametre of endoscope.

EFFECT: application of said group of inventions makes it possible to eliminate high risk of esophagus perforation and late diagnostics of said complication, eliminate mecessity of operation (gastrotomy) and discomfort, associated with wearing stoma and nasogastric thread, eliminate irradiation of patient, reduce the time of surgery.
