FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Longitudinal cuts 3-4 mm eccentric to mid-tendon, alternating indent to its external and internal edges, are made. Transversal cuts, equal in length to longitudinal cuts, starting from the most remote from each other ends of distal, proximal longitudinal cuts and from middle of intermediate longitudinal cuts through mid-tendon alternatively to its external and internal edges, are performed. Tendon is tightened and elongated by opening transversal and longitudinal cuts with formation of diastases.
EFFECT: method ensures reduction of surgery trauma, acceleration of regeneration, increase of tendon elongation value, removal of excess stress along tendon fibres, elimination of tendon deformation, reduction of post-operational complications.
