FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorption filtration materials to be used as analytical tape and filters for analysis of radioactive iodine. Proposed material comprises inner layer from 5-10 mcm-dia. Polypropylene microfibres filled by active carbon particles impregnated with silver nitrate at carbon-to-fibres ratio equal to 1:(2-4), and outer layers consisting of thermally bound polypropylene microfibres with 100-300 nm-dia. Nano fibres applied thereon produced by electroforming from the solution of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride and butyl acetate-based butadiene rubber. Note here that outer layers are arranged to allow nano fibres to come in contact with inner layer.
EFFECT: efficient material for absorption of radioactive iodine.
