FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and can be used in producing hydrogen. The reforming reactor for converting initial liquid to hydrogen includes a reforming section 4 inside a closed volume, a boiling section 3 and a combustion section 2. The reforming section has one or more catalyst tubes 20. The boiling section 3 has one or more through channels 11 for passage of gaseous combustion products 12 from the combustion section 2 and the combustion section is fitted with not less than one burner 16. The heat exchange medium need for reforming the said initial liquid in one more catalyst tubes, is a gas-liquid mixture which spontaneously circulates inside the closed volume, and at least part of the closed volume is inside the said boiling section.
EFFECT: invention enables to easily attain and maintain the working temperature.
