FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises measuring changes in specimen surface radiation temperature in time in heating by heating source with power output obeying the relationship ω=ω0+ω1cos(φt), and digital simulation of temperature conditions. Heat flow relaxation time is determined from conditions of equality between experimental and digital magnitudes of aforesaid changes in specimen surface radiation temperature in time. Proposed method comprises also one-time experiment, using contactless heating and contactless thermal diagnostics.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and simplified procedure in wider temperature range.
