SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics and is intended for treatment of dislocation fractures in ankle joint. Injured segment of extremity "ankle-foot" is held in functionally beneficial for repositions position at two extreme levels. Depending on foot subluxation direction fixing surgeon places one hand palm in area of heel and foot, the second hand is placed on ankle a little higher than the region of injured ankle joint. Surgeon assistant placed hand palm above the level of ankle proximal part. Post-trauma edema is squeezed until usually contoured bone protrusions appear. After that, hardening plaster bandage or polymer bandage is applied on the injured extremity segment. On the opposite side from two selected reposition-fixing sites, located on two extreme levels of injured segment in plane of ankle fragments displacement manual resetting effort is applied to unfixed end of long bone fragment of injured segment, in direction opposite to direction of its displacement, until appropriate anatomical matching with corresponding bone fragment of injured segment is achieved. Manual reposition of ankle fragments is performed with elimination of talus subluxation. Sites of resetting effort application on three levels are fixed in hardening bandage in such a way that in plane of possible fragment displacement three fixation sites, which do not lie on the same straight line, are formed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to prevent displacement of long fragments.
