FIELD: medical technology. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in conservative curing of fractures. According to method, before applying bandage, oedema is eliminated at points of applying bandage to anatomic bone protrusions in proximal and distal part of injured segment of extremity. This is achieved by means of repositioning apparatus. Repositioning strips must be under positive pressure of 0.6-1.4 kg/cm2 in area of 0.2-0.6 cm2 from area of oedema during 4-6 min. After that, extremity is removed from repositioning apparatus, and gypsum bandage of "boot" type is applied to shin and foot, and extremity is again placed in depositioning apparatus, thus pressure is brought to bear on bandage which is being hardened. This is performed so as to obtain repositioning and fixing of fragments and eliminate dislocations of foot by hardened bandage. Application of aforesaid method shortens periods of consolidation due to enhanced fixing effect of applied gypsum bandage. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
