FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates top medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Injured segment of extremity is fixed in apparatus on two extreme levels. Before application of hardening bandage by means of reposition apparatus on at least three levels, first post-traumatic edema is removed, after that resetting effort is applied to unfixed distal end of long bone fragment, in opposite direction of its displacement perpendicular to longitudinal axis of injured segment or joint to it segment, between two levels of fixation until proper anatomical matching with corresponding bone fragment of injured segment is achieved. Simultaneously passive movements are performed in injured ankle joint. Accuracy of bone fragment matching and their position are carried out under control of electronic-optic converter.
EFFECT: method ensures improvements of performed reposition quality, stable fragment fixation, reduction of risk of infectious complications and secondary displacements of fragments.
